Environmental Engineers was founded in 1977. The company was formed to provide efficient and reliable testing and balancing services to the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry throughout the western United States.
Environmental Engineers has obtained certification from the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB). NEBB exists to help architects, engineers, and building owners to produce efficient buildings, with HVAC systems that perform in the ways they are visualized and designed. The entire NEBB program is designed and dedicated to assuring proper balancing services to building owners and their representatives.
NEBB's credibility is built on its high standards, quality programs, and the integrity and demonstrated capabilities of its certified firms. As a further assurance to specifies, a review board of engineers, contractors, and owners, or building officials, evaluates contractor compliance with NEBB criteria--in the event a dispute arises.
Environmental Engineers has tested, adjusted, and balanced every type of HVAC system, ranging from package equipment to variable volume systems. We have performed work on schools, banks, churches, office buildings, atomic plants, special radiation test labs, shopping centers, security facilities, military bases, etc. We have also conducted surveys of existing systems which were not operating correctly and recommended corrections needed to obtain satisfactory service and lowest possible energy expenditure.
Environmental Engineers owns and utilizes the approved instrumentation listed in the NEBB Procedural Standards for Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing of Environmental Systems. In addition, we make use of the latest technologies and employ the use of other useful instrumentation. All instruments are calibrated and maintained in good working order, as required by NEBB.
Environmental Engineers has built a strong track record of proven performance in air and hydronic system testing and
